Hey. I don’t have any audio when playing Beat Saber. Audio is working for literally everything else but Beat Saber. Is there fix for this? I bought the game on Steam, but I use the Oculus Rift to play the game. Steam VR makes the game laggy, so I use “-vrmode oculus” on startup so it launch with Oculus instead of SteamVR. But, there’s absolutely no audio. I’ve tried all the obvious troubleshooting (restarting oculus, reinstalling the game, restarting pc, checking volume mixers, etc) but none of that worked. This has happened multiple times before and each time has required a different solution. I used to be able to click “Patch & Launch” in the Beat Saber, but that doesn’t exist anymore. Also, I do have mods installed. I’ve done a clean install also, losing all my data, and it still didn’t fix it. All my drivers are up to date as well. I don’t know if this will help but every time I click the “verify integrity of game files” in steam, it says “2 files failed to validate and will be reacquired”. So I do it again, and it says “all files successfully validated” but then like 5 minutes later it will go back to the failed message. I even bought the game on the Oculus store to see if that was the issue… nope. I’ve emailed them and not received any responses. I’ve been unable to play Beat Saber for THREE MONTHS because of this bug. I just want to play the game. I’ve checked Oculus, Windows, and Steam settings and messed with audio settings, nothing helped. Is there any other way to solve this problem? I feel like I’ve tried everything.
