This might not be a popular request since most people probably play VR alone. This is just something I noticed when I introduce VR to friends. The audience have nothing to do besides waiting for their turns. What if they can participate in the game? Using apps on their phones or the same game launched in non-vr mode on a different computer, even just a separate UI that can be use on the same computer. The audience can be drones that support or fight against the player, or a commander that place some but not most enemy elements on the map, or even as simple as picking the next sound track in beat saber without the player knowing. The audience doesn’t have to be an equal part to the player like a cross platform game, just some way to participate in the game would be awesome.
