I’m in no rush to get into VR. I’ve been putting off jumping into VR since when the DK1 came out as I thought “that’s cool but i’ll wait for the second gen, for them to work out the kinks”

However it struck me that it may not be worth it, for me at least not without upgrading my PC.

So my question is with the specs below would I even be able to run anything more than a Rift S/Quest (linked)/Vive currently requires, at good settings?

Even if the next gen is higher hertz or rez would i need to pump £500 more into my rig to even make use of this theoretical upgrade?

Side question: I’ve heard lots about this foveated rendering and its benifits does it improve performance and immersion that much to be worth waiting, has anyone here tried it?
