I am an AI engineer interested in pivoting my career into AR. My ideal job would be applying my computer vision skills to AR problems. For example, if you point a device at an engine it can tell you what all the components are (computer vision) and tell you which ones are faulty/broken/disconnected (computer vision).
My sense is that it is too early, and most of AR right now is about breaking through to consumers. Or am I wrong and there opportunities like this in the industry?
