Some of these will be obvious but they concern 2 problems I was having: dark and blurry graphics and problems with the grip being too sensitive.
I’m running an i7 8700 and a 2080Ti at 150% SS, 80Hz. Ingame settings: Epic, resolution 80%. Motion smoothing enabled.
For the graphics, I’ve changed the gamma as per the old fix for Vader Immortal: go to Engine.ini in UserAppDataLocalWrathGameSavedConfigWindowsNoEditor and add the following script
You can also reduce the TAA (thanks to u/thatirishguy for mentioning this, and u/vr_guy for originally posting it, although it’s not for everyone but I personally like it a bit better (however gamma was the big one here)Anyway, here are the scripts:
[SystemSettings] r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=2 r.TemporalAACurrentFrameWeight=0.2 r.TemporalAASamples=16 r.TemporalAASharpness=1.0 r.Tonemapper.Sharpen=1.5
in gameusersettings.ini, make sure that:
As for the grip issue, there is a profile for the index controllers when you start the game up: press menu button, settings, controller settings, and select the public profile for Asgard’s Wrath (it’s the only one I believe).
Personally, I have modified it even further: do this by editing the binding and scrolling down to “grip”, click on the pencil icon and then little cog on the right to access settings.
I find it even better if you move Force Hold Threshold up to 75 (this will affect both controllers) and the last value (drop speed I believe, I moved up a little, it seems to affect throwing, my personal value is somewhere around 6.5 m/s, but I’m not really sure what this does, possibly the speed with which the grip “lets go” once pressure falls below threshold.
